THE UNCONTAINED HERETIC ~ Independent Researcher • Investigative Writer • Author
As an independent researcher, I Question Everything. Follow the Evidence. Explore What Remains Unexplained.
Hi, I’m Stacy, an independent researcher and investigator for everything unexplained. Some questions don’t go away just because nobody has found a satisfactory answer.
For decades, I’ve been fascinated by the things that don’t fit neatly into established explanations. Unexplained experiences, UFO/UAP reports, paranormal phenomena, historical mysteries, unusual scientific questions, ancient civilizations, and the strange patterns that sometimes appear across seemingly unrelated accounts.
However my interest began with personal experiences when I was very young.
Over time, curiosity became the road that led me to become an independent researcher.
Research became investigation.
And investigation led me to developing my own questions, connections, and hypotheses.
The Uncontained Heretic is the professional home for that work.
WHAT I DO
Independent Research
I conduct long-term independent research across subjects that intersect history, science, technology, human experience, and unexplained phenomena.
Investigative Research
I examine reported cases, available documentation, competing explanations, recurring patterns, and unanswered questions.
Hypothesis Development
I develop original hypotheses that attempt to explore possible explanations for observations that remain unresolved or inadequately explained.
Investigative Writing
I turn research into organized written work designed to document information, examine possibilities, and invite further investigation.
Field Investigation
Through my investigative work, I document firsthand reports and examine locations, experiences, evidence, and competing explanations.
WHERE IT STARTED
My interest in unexplained phenomena did not begin with a television program or an internet theory.
It began with experiences I had growing up.
I experienced events that I understood as paranormal, including experiences in a home I believed to be haunted. Those experiences stayed with me and left me with questions that never completely went away.
Decades later, I’m still asking those questions.
The difference is that today I have a much larger body of knowledge, research material, reported cases, scientific concepts, historical documentation, and investigative experience with which to examine them.
Personal experience started the questions. Research became the method.

A NOTE ABOUT THE WORK
I don’t consider an interesting possibility to be the same thing as a proven fact.
Throughout this site, I will distinguish between documented information, reported experiences, established scientific knowledge, interpretation, speculation, and original hypothesis.
A personal experience may be meaningful without establishing its cause.
A witness report may raise an important question without proving an explanation.
And a hypothesis may be worth investigating without being correct.
That’s the point of research.
You don’t begin with the answer.
You begin with the question.
CURRENT FOCUS
My current work explores questions involving:
- UFO/UAP phenomena
- Unexplained and anomalous experiences
- Paranormal reports
- Historical mysteries
- Ancient civilizations
- Cryptids and unidentified creatures
- Science and technology
- Physics and propulsion concepts
- Consciousness and unusual experiences
- Recurring patterns across unrelated reports
- Possible connections between established scientific concepts and unexplained observations
WELCOME TO THE UNCONTAINED HERETIC
I’m not here because I think I have every answer.
I’m here because there are questions worth asking.
And I’m not particularly interested in stopping at “that’s impossible” when the more useful question may be:
“Why do we believe it’s impossible—and what evidence would actually tell us?”
